I’ve literally tried every diet and workout known to man and I’m not kidding. I’d lose weight and gain it right back. I just couldn’t stick with anything very long. It was all just too hard! Then I discovered I didn’t have to do anything drastic. I also discovered consistency is the key. Consistent eating habits and consistent exercise didn’t have to be hard. I know nobody wants to hear they have to have consistent eating and exercise habits but it is the hard truth. I am no spring chicken anymore, in fact, I’m almost 59, and at this age, I finally found a way to have the body I had always wanted and I did it with consistency.
What Has Worked For Me
The first thing I did was get my hormones balanced with bio-identical hormones ( you have to at my age), then I discovered low-carb eating. I learned to take low-carb bread, tortillas, and high-protein chips everywhere I went, even into restaurants! I discovered that Monk Fruit Sweetener looks, cooks, and bakes like real sugar. I have a huge sweet tooth so I put it in everything and it’s great! I discovered chocolate chips that use Monk Fruit too! I really didn’t sacrifice taste, bread, or sweets at all! Breads and Sweets are my weakness and I didn’t have to give them up. I found the ultimate easy no impact workout called Physique 57 that I can do in as little as 5 min a day! I try to do 30 min 5-6 days a week, but to be honest, I can only get 5,10, or 15 minutes on some days and you know what? I still get results! Doing any amount of time consistently keeps me from shaming myself for not doing something or staying consistent. I’m still maintaining consistency and it feels great to know I did something that marches me toward my health and fitness goals. Like I said, I’ve literally tried everything and these small changes are the only things that ever gave me the body I truly wanted..a body better than I had in high school!
